An amazing bag and so many different colors and fibers!
Can you believe we made a blanket out of recycled textile fibers?
This dark green bag is made from hospital textiles that have been removed from circulation as unusable during washing.
The textiles are opened into fibers at Rester's Paimio production unit.
The sewing work was done by superheroes from the Turku workplace, who will have more employment opportunities.
These are the first mass-produced products made from recycled textiles.
We are constantly learning more and more about how to make products more sustainable and recyclable. This product has a 70% lower carbon footprint than if it were made from new polyester.
We are also proud to say that the product is made in Finland.

We have made a felt from recycled textile fibers in Salo.
The waste textiles have been cleaned in an industrial laundry and opened into fibers at our partner Rester's production facility in Paimio.
The textiles are often workwear, such as from hospitals and large industrial plants or service companies.
The colors tell the story of where the textiles come from.
We are provided with sewing work by Salon Kolmituote and Turku Työpiste, as well as Cooperative Framila, among others.
The felt may become pilled during use, this is normal for recycled felt, you can easily remove it with a pilling remover.
