The protective mat is suitable for many home projects where you need to protect surfaces temporarily or even for a slightly longer period. The thickness of the felt varies between 3-4 mm, providing a soft surface to protect floors or furniture. The felt material is made from 70% Finnish textile waste, such as workwear. One side of the felt has a thin plastic film that prevents liquids from passing through.

Got a new dog in the household? The Vilikkala protective mat is a great tool for temporary floor protection.
Do you service your own lawnmower, chainsaw, car, etc.? The Vilikkala protective mat prevents metal shavings and oil from spreading onto the floor. The cotton in the felt is particularly good at absorbing oil.
Hosting a party? If a large number of guests are tramping into the ballroom, it is a good idea to protect the hallway with a protective mat that keeps water and small stones off the surfaces.

The material contains 30% new polyester bonding fibers, while 35% of the recycled fibers are cotton and the other 35% are polyester. The textiles were removed from circulation at the end of their lifecycle after industrial washing.

The packaging and delivery costs for your order are €5.90. We offer free delivery within Finland for orders over €100. We ship your order as standard delivery to a Posti service point or parcel locker. Shipments can be tracked using a tracking number. Please note that Posti keeps parcels at the pick-up point for 5 days.
