LAMINATION

Felt is an excellent reinforcement material with many good properties. Polyester felt is easy to shape, moisture-repellent and has almost complete UV protection. Felts made from recycled textile fibers are rapidly becoming popular and we are constantly learning more about how to process them. Felts are so-called two-component felts, in which the fusible fiber is activated using heat and pressure (calendering).

The purpose of lamination is to use felt or other reinforcing material to emphasize the properties of the fabric being laminated to it, such as durability, stability, and formability.

Laminated products can be used in various applications in the textile industry, the construction industry and, for example, in interior design elements. Our lamination line is well suited for a wide range of customer jobs where textiles need to be joined together, reinforced or the technical properties of materials need to be increased.

In addition to felting, our typical work includes special textiles with several different layers. These can be used, for example, in clothing that requires durability and protection, such as bulletproof vests and special weightlifting equipment. We also laminate special leathers needed for car seats.
