Scaling a small business's business and commercializing innovations require substantial external funding. The financing plan developed with Spinverse enables Vilikkala to secure the next round of financing and participate in product development projects.

These slogans perfectly describe our mission: we produce felt and boards from recycled textile fibers. Vilikkala’s expansion plan includes transforming our fiber expertise into the production of new materials for the domestic and international markets. Our goal is to secure a significant investment to build a modern production line that is specifically suited to recycled fibers. The total capital requirement is EUR 3.8 million and operations are scheduled to begin in 2026. This first expansion phase will result in an annual fiber processing capacity of 500 tons.

Spinverse is a Finnish innovation consulting company focused on research and development projects, especially in technology and innovation. The company helps its clients develop and commercialize new technologies, as well as obtain funding and create collaboration networks. Spinverse often acts as a link between different stakeholders, such as universities, companies and public organizations, promoting the innovation ecosystem. The company is known in particular as an expert in EU funding arrangements and innovation project management.

Vilikkala is located in Haliko, Salona. The company is part of Rester Oy's network utilizing recycled textile fibers. Textile lamination and cutting, as well as felt production from recycled fibers are Vilikkala's special expertise. Recycled fibers are a special opportunity for a clean transition, where textile waste is used as a raw material for recycled products.
