The Landella grow bag is the gardener's new helper. The grow bag is made from recycled plastic bottles (rPET) and you can use it as a grow bag in the garden. It is specially designed for this purpose, allowing you to move plants easily. For the winter, the grow bag is easy to clean and put away in a shed to await the next growing season. It is also an excellent help on patios and balconies, for example, where plants sometimes need to be moved to a better spot or taken to a neighbor for watering while you are on holiday.

The black grow bag is best suited for home decor, storage, and especially for garden plantings. The felt is made from recycled plastic bottles (rPET). There are five color versions of this all-purpose grow bag, but the others are under the storage basket product category.


The felt has been tested as a grow bag. The felt binds the roots so they do not start to circle as they do in pots. The felt enables a dense and vigorous root system. The felt is also breathable and balances the moisture in the bag. The bag is particularly good in a greenhouse as part of a watering system. The felt is an insulating material that protects the root system from frost, while at the same time, the felt collects and stores heat from the sun. You can plant directly into the bags, e.g., tomatoes and herbs.

You should pay attention to the surface you place the bag on, as it allows water to pass through. In garden use, the grow bag lasts for years. Indoors, you can place a pot and a saucer inside the bag. This gives you a beautiful base for your home plants, which are then easy to move from place to place, for example, when cleaning.
Grow bags are versatile in urban and rural homes. How else can herbs grown on a balcony be kept alive during a week at a summer cottage? – the herbs are naturally taken along to the cottage in their home bag.

When you plant summer flowers and plants in a grow bag, you can ensure that the flowers are in their full glory in exactly the spot in the garden where it is best at any given time. You can bring plants in the most beautiful bloom and large grasses next to the garden gate and the door. You can move plants that need refreshing into shelter and shade to recover. The Landella bag is hexagonal and sturdy in structure, yet still lightweight to carry. When you go on holiday, you can take the bags to a neighbor for watering or even take them along to the cottage!

The handle fits as a carrying grip for all grow bags that have a base diameter of 35 cm, which is practically all of them except for the mini bags and the S-size Landella bag. There were no affordable and ecological grow bags for the garden and greenhouse available in Finland or the whole of Europe. We decided to set up our company based on this idea. The Kotisäkkis (home bags) soon became very popular, and customers gave us a lot of feedback on their versatility.
