The inside of the basket features rPET felt, which consists of 80% recycled PET plastic, such as beverage bottles. The Kaukuri storage basket is made of beautifully finished felt, crafted from fiber blends found in clothing, such as cotton, wool, and synthetic fibers like polyester. It is good to keep in mind that the felt may shed dust and microfibers, but this is a common phenomenon in all textiles. The raw material for our basket is carefully processed at Rester's production facility in Paimio, where workwear is shredded back into fibers so it can be reused.

Vilikkala, in its Salo production, has finished the recycled material into felt, so by using Vilikkala's felt materials, you support the Finnish circular economy for textiles. The packaging and delivery costs for your order are €5.90. We offer free delivery within Finland for orders over €100. We ship your order as standard delivery to a Posti service point or parcel locker. Shipments can be tracked using a tracking number. Please note that Posti keeps parcels at the pick-up point for 5 days.

The delivery cost for rolled products is always 12 euros.

DELIVERY TIME
Our standard delivery times within Finland are 2-4 days. We are not responsible for delays caused by force majeure or any indirect harm caused by delays. Information regarding exceptional delivery times will be posted on the online store's home page.

The felt material is made from 70% Finnish textile waste, such as workwear. The material contains 30% new polyester binder fibers. The textiles were removed from circulation at the end of their life cycle after industrial washing.

Companies, associations, educational institutions, adult education centers, and other organizations can order products via e-invoice.

Discarded textiles are clothes that have reached the end of their life cycle. They can be utilized in many ways. Blankets made from Vilikkala's recycled fibers are primarily derived from Finnish workwear that has been decommissioned at the end of its life cycle during industrial washing. Thus, they have become new raw material once again. The vibrant colors are the original colors of the garments and are part of a wonderful story.
